Presidents Pen..

Hi everyone.

A bit of snow on the hills so sad to say Harry's trip has had to be postponed until later in year.

So the next trip is Owen's trip which sounds like a great trip.

Please let him know if you are going.

cheers Greg

Trip Report - Mt Pisgah - Feb 26th 2023

Mt Pisgah - 26 Feb 2023
Thirteen vehicles and their occupants  gathered on a lovely clear morning in Oamaru for the trip to Mt Pisgah.

A brief briefing by Peter and away to gather two more vehicles at Danseys Pass camp. We had two guests with us from Germany in a Mercedes truck.
We left the Danseys Pass road and in an orderly procession along the Marawhenua Spur; with views down into the Danseys Road.

Lunch was enjoyed in a wee sheltered spot and then we were off again to the Summit for a short walk to the top of Mt Pisgah. Views there were a wow moment. Really amazing! and if you weren't with us,you missed a beauty.
The Germans were the only vehicle to get a little lost, But not too badly.
After the summet another nice drive in easy-ish going and we rejoined civilization near Livingston.
A wee debrief (No, not the undies type)and it was off to the Enfield Pub for dinner and refreshments.

Thank you to Peter and Harry  - Bloody good day out - Ferne and Chris Smyth
